With a tropical weather whose temperatures oscillate between 22 and 25 degrees, Los Rìos is located next to the Rìo Guayas. Their attractiveness is concentrated exactly in what its name inspired, their enormous fluvial resources, because this province counts in abundance with numerous rivers that crosses it along and wide, besides has some natural protected territories by private organizations, and coastly traditions of long ago like El Rodeo montuvio, colorful boats, the bird fight, the fishing, among others.

Its gastronomy is one of the best ones in the coast, consists in shrimp coctels, shell and fish, besades, seen that other Ecuadorian regions of Pacific, also gets used to eating steak or chicken meat, rice with menestra and patacones, tortillas de verde, delicious corviche, bollos and banana in general thus like the popular Caldo de manguera and the french pork or fritada.

Babahoyo. Ancestral agriculture and traditions. -

Babahoyo is the capital of the province, the rivers San Pablo and Caracol surrounds it as well forming the Babahoyo that soon ends at the great Guayas river. One of the ride more interesting than makes the tourists consists of sailing on waters of the Babahoyo, with the purpose of wachting the agricultural and cow zone of the region. Taking the Route Quevedo-Santo Domingo, by landway to the northwest of Babahoyo, just to 40 minutes, is Vinces, another colorful and popular town, famous also like "Little Paris". It is characterized by its old buildings, constructed in wood, that belonged to the rich cacao farmer of the time, besides a perfect little copy exactly to the famous Iffel Tower, next to its singular river, scene of too many events, and sport competitions and of course also its own very beautiful women of this town.

Following by this route, it is possible to visit other important points throughout this warm province, surrounded by forests, rivers and hills too, like Pueblo Viejo, San Juan, Pimocha, Catarama, Ventanas, Mocache, Buena Fé and in special way Quevedo, a town with airs of city, it is the one of greater development and money importance destiny in Los Rìos, mainly commercial and agricultural Quevedo has become the new cradle of national and foreign retailers in the province, where it is possible to be found all the used services seen to active and progressive city, with hotels, restaurants, cafeteries, shopping centers, banks, bars, discotecs, theaters, sites, temples, etc.
